WAYNES WORLD...a secret spot that no one should surf.
p-hotos by WK, Wes, Matt, and thats it. BTW- they are sworn to secrecy

Youll never find it, and you probably cant handle it. This wave has teeth.

Its one of those spots you hope someone shows up to surf with, but they never do. The wave itself is too powerful and dangerous for the average surfer, but if you have skills and like power, the wave offers more than you bargain for. No matter how much skills you have, surfing this place alone takes nerves of steel.

WK stuffing an inside section. This photo fails to show the shallow rocks and air-drop takeoff required to get it on. Every wave here is dangerous, even the puny ones. Due to the sensitivity of bringing others, theres not too many photos of Wayne surfing it. An amateur photographer caught these photos of Wayne on a small day. Imagine what happens when no one is looking.

Yeah, the lip gets a little thick on the takeoff, but you have to love a fat lip.

"This place is one of the most dangerous head-high waves Ive ever seen, and it breaks over dry rocks. People rarely surf it, and last year a kid broke his leg trying to ride it. Odds are high for disaster here. There are rocks, sharks, and pissed-off Sea Lions. On the hike you may run into rattle snakes, mountain lions, or maybe a ticked-off wild boar. You dont want to surf here anyway, because you have to be crazier than Wayne." quote from "anonymous"

Thousands of super gnarly barrels go unridden here every year.

Have you ever seen a wave with hair? There are so many oddities to this surf spot.
