DISCOVERY CHANNEL- In Feb 2005 Wayne Kelly worked with Henninger productions for consultation and talent on a TV special about the Banzai Pipeline. The show appeared on DISCOVERY HD THEATRE. Wayne appears in the final show during interviews, surfing, and lifestyle shots. He also played an integral part of production. Heres just a few short clips from the final cut.

2005 GLOBAL AWARDS FINALIST Ghost TREE - March 9, 2005- Right in Waynes backyard, one of the biggest-rideable waves in the world is exposed. Wayne was there to surf, but fate and fear of death left him taking photos of his peers, getting the biggest waves of their lives. Waynes photos were published internationally in a plethora of magazines and newspapers. His work appeared on the home-page of every major world-wide surfing website. In April of 2005, 2 of Waynes images were final contenders for the Billabong XXL Global Big-Wave Awards, a year-long contest to ride the biggest wave.

He has competed year-round in the World Qualifying Series (WQS) surfing competitions throughout North America and Hawaii. These events attract mass-media, and the promotional aspect of competitions have lead to alot of exposure.
