2007 Thanksgiving feast of Perfection

For days leading into Thanksgiving 2007, you could tell it was going to be good. But this good?

Offshore winds and sweet Winter swell led me into some great rides over the last few days.

Surfed all day!

I cant remember the last day I got a tube-ride on just about every wave, but this was a day to remember.

Old friend and surfer girl Diana Madison got some really nice tubes on the shallow bar.

Mo gets a turkey stuffer.

Yeah... it was amazing.

Early morning ride by local surfer Steve White. It was really clean and perfect.

While most were thinking about a nice Turkey dinner, these Killer Whales were eating a couple fat Sea Lions. The Killer Whales herded abot 20 seals into a pack and started attacking them. It was like real-life Animal Planet. Keep in mind that these photos were taken from very far away. I have never seen Killer Whales in this area, and to witness the skill of these animals was truly incredible.
