GHOST TREE~ THE SCARIEST place ON EARTH?

     

In the last 10 years, no one has spent more time documenting the legendary area surrounding Ghost Tree. Located somewhere in the somber forests of Pebble Beach, Ghost Tree is a geographic phenomenon. An exceptionally deep Pacific Ocean trench spills directly onto a shallow rock laden point. During the winter months, large Northwest Swells focus into a narrow bay, producing some of the largest, most powerful waves on Earth. For Hundreds of years the area has been known as a hazardous place to navigate, and the seas there have claimed many lives. The dead trees, dreary marshes and unforgiving coastline personify the obvious danger abound. It is easily one of the most dangerous spots on Earth. Unjust laws have now made the lifesaving support vessel for these surfers illegal.
